Akshi beach is one of the best beaches of Alibaug. Water is comparatively better than other beaches. Not much of rush as other beaches.
For birding this is the only beach in Alibaug with various species of birds, viz. Brown Headed Gulls, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Capsian Terns, Lesser Crested Terns, Common Terns, Whiskered Terns, Greater & Lesser Sand Plovers, Ruddy Turnstones, Terek Sandipipers, Common Sandpipers, Little Stints, Egrets, etc. If lucky you can even get Oyster Catchers.

Akshi Beach
Akshi beach is located at a distance near about 5 km from the famous Alibaug town in the hamlet Akshi and 5 Mins walking distance from the Resort. Akshi beach is quite famous among the tourist for its white sands, with several suru trees that are spread along the coast. They make the beach shore look more exotic.
Akshi Beach Alibaug is frequentely visited by a large number of tourists and several kinds of exotic birds. Several kinds of flora and fauna can be seen in the vicinity of the Akshi beach.
Nagaon Beach Alibaug
Located only 7 km away from Alibaug and 3 km from Resort, Nagaon beach is lying between Alibaug and Revdanda. If you are looking for a beach destination close to Mumbai or Pune with clean water, excellent accommodation, and water sports facilities then Nagaon beach in Alibaug offers you all of them in plenty.
Due to the central position amidst a number of popular beaches on the Konkan coast like Murud, Akshi, Alibaug, Mandwa and Kihim thousands of tourists visit Nagaon Beach every year and enjoy some of their life’s enchanting moments.
Kolaba Fort
The Kolaba or Kulaba Fort (or the Alibag Fort) is an old military fortification in India, now turned into a popular tourist destination and a protected monument. Constructed by Shivaji, the Fort was chosen by him to be one of his chief naval stations.
The most interesting feature of the Fort is that despite being a part of a saltwater body, the fort has a fresh-water well. A temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, built by Raghoji Angre in the year 1759, is also present in the Fort premises and is still worshipped by the fishermen from the area. The fort also has temples dedicated to Mahishasura and Goddess Padmavati.
